On Thursday night, a real estate office in Gurugram came under attack when masked gunmen fired 25-30 rounds, creating panic in the area. The office of MNR Buildmark was targeted, with glass shards scattered as bullets pierced windows, PTI reported.
Police said the shooting was allegedly ordered by gangsters based abroad. Around 9:30 pm, four to five masked men entered the office building, fired recklessly, and escaped. Bullet marks were found on the office windows and luxury cars parked on the premises.
Property dealer Shravan Raheja filed a complaint, and police are investigating the case to identify the attackers and ascertain the motive. The office accommodates 11 builders involved in the sale and purchase of prominent projects in Gurugram and Delhi NCR.
Gurugram has witnessed several recent shootings. In July, singer Rahul Fazilpuria was fired upon, and in August, his friend Rohit Shakeen was shot dead. Gunmen also reportedly opened fire outside YouTuber Elvish Yadav’s house, a friend of Fazilpuria.
