Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauahar Khan has strongly condemned contestant Tanya Mittal for body-shaming fellow contestant Ashnoor Kaur during a captaincy task on Bigg Boss 19.
The actor-influencer, who has been closely following the season, shared a video on Instagram calling Tanya’s comments “absolutely disgusting”.
What Gauahar said
In her video, Gauahar said she initially found Tanya innocent and entertaining but lost all respect after hearing her remarks about Ashnoor.
“The way she’s been body-shaming Ashnoor behind her back is absolutely disgusting,” she said, calling it shameful to target someone’s appearance.
She added, “If you put others down to feel prettier, you’re not beautiful at all. Khoobsurat hone se zyada, khoobseerat hona important hai,” emphasizing kindness over looks.
What happened in the captaincy task
During the episode, contestants competed to support Pranit More or Shehbaz Badesha as captain.
Housemates had to collect numbered balls thrown into the garden area, with the highest total deciding the winner.
Tanya’s derogatory comments
While trying to block Ashnoor during the task, Tanya was heard calling her “haathi” (elephant) and later saying, “Bohot moti hai yaar.”
She also discussed her weight with fellow contestant Neelam. The remarks sparked outrage among viewers, many urging host Salman Khan to address the matter in Weekend Ka Vaar.
