Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh has addressed the controversy surrounding his gesture of touching Amitabh Bachchan’s feet during his recent appearance on Kaun Banega Crorepati 17.
The incident drew criticism from the banned organisation Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), which accused him of disrespecting the victims of the 1984 anti-Sikh violence and threatened to disrupt his upcoming Melbourne concert on 1 November.
‘I will always spread love,’ says Diljit
Amid the backlash, Dosanjh took to Instagram and shared a heartfelt message from his Brisbane concert, reaffirming his commitment to positivity.
“I will always talk about love… there is only love from my side for everyone, even if someone gets jealous of me or trolls me,” he told the crowd, adding that his guiding philosophy remains Ik Onkar.
He also urged fans to trust their inner desires instead of obsessively manifesting outcomes, saying, “Keep it in your heart. God will make it happen.”
Aura Tour continues despite controversy
Dosanjh is currently touring Asia-Pacific as part of his Aura Tour, with upcoming shows in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Auckland, and Bangkok, vowing to continue spreading love amid criticism and threats.
