The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Mumbai Police has issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty and her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, in connection with an alleged cheating case worth ₹60 crore, officials confirmed on Friday.
According to investigators, a businessman has accused the couple of duping him of the hefty sum through fraudulent dealings. The LOC prevents Shetty and Kundra from leaving the country while the probe is underway.
The development comes just days after Shetty’s upscale Mumbai restaurant, Bastian, was ordered shut following reported compliance issues.
The case has sparked significant attention, adding to the controversies surrounding Kundra, who has faced legal troubles in the past.
