Multiplex chain PVR INOX on Friday announced a special Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival to celebrate the Bollywood icon’s legacy ahead of his 60th birthday on November 2.
The festival will begin on October 31 and run for two weeks across more than 75 cinemas in 30 cities.
Films on the line-up
According to PVR INOX, the festival will showcase some of Shah Rukh Khan’s most memorable films, including Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na, Dil Se, Devdas, Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om, and Jawan.
Announcing the event on social media, the brand wrote, “Decades of charm. Endless emotions. One legend. Celebrate the films that defined generations – the Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival starts Oct 31!”
Shah Rukh calls it a ‘beautiful reunion’
Reacting to the tribute, Shah Rukh Khan said, “Cinema has always been my home, and seeing these films return to the big screen feels like a beautiful reunion. These movies aren’t just my stories, they belong to the audience that has lovingly embraced them for over 33 years.”
He expressed gratitude to PVR INOX and Red Chillies Entertainment for honouring his cinematic journey and invited fans to relive the magic of his films.
What’s next for SRK
After delivering three blockbusters in 2023 – Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki, Shah Rukh is currently shooting for Siddharth Anand’s King alongside his daughter Suhana Khan. The film, also featuring Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, is expected to release in 2026.
