Former Shark Tank India judge and entrepreneur Ashneer Grover may soon return to the small screen in an unexpected way.
Grover, who is currently hosting the streaming reality show Rise & Fall, revealed on Friday that he had received an invitation from the makers of Bigg Boss 19 to join the show as a wild card contestant.

Grover shared a screenshot of an email he reportedly received from a casting coordinator for the show on his Instagram Stories.
While the authenticity of the mail remains unverified, he made light of the offer with his trademark humour.
“Haha! Salman bhai se pooch le!! Mai to free ho jaaunga tab tak. Ye ‘mail merge’ kisi ki to naukri khayega,” he wrote, joking that the apparent bulk email could even cost someone their job.

This possible entry marks a fresh chapter in Grover’s interactions with Bigg Boss host Salman Khan. In 2024, Grover appeared as a guest on Bigg Boss 18, where Salman confronted him over earlier remarks.
Grover had claimed on a podcast that he was denied a photo with Salman and had even negotiated the actor’s brand endorsement fee with BharatPe.
Salman publicly challenged the claims, calling Grover’s version inaccurate. Grover later apologised on-air, though he accused Salman of creating “unnecessary drama.”
Now, with the prospect of becoming a contestant inside the Bigg Boss 19 house, fans are watching closely to see whether Grover and Salman will once again share the stage and how their dynamic will unfold this time.
