Amid the ongoing G20 summit in South Africa, India, Australia and Canada have announced a new Australia-Canada-India Technology and Innovation (ACITI) partnership on Saturday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney to formalise the initiative, which aims to strengthen cooperation in emerging technologies, clean energy and the mass adoption of AI.
The ACITI partnership is expected to boost collaboration across three continents, diversify critical supply chains and promote shared innovation frameworks among the three democracies.
This year’s G20 gathering holds special significance as South Africa becomes the first African nation to host the Summit.
