The internet is buzzing with speculation that India all-rounder Hardik Pandya may be dating model and actor Mahieka Sharma.
The chatter began after a viral Instagram post claimed a faint male figure,believed by some to resemble Hardik, was visible in the background of one of Mahieka’s selfies.
Adding to the intrigue, fans spotted the number 33 jersey, synonymous with Pandya, appearing in her feed. Social media sleuths have also pointed out that the two follow each other on Instagram.
The rumours come months after Hardik’s much-publicised divorce from Natasa Stankovic and his reported breakup with British singer Jasmin Walia.
Fueling the buzz further, Mahieka was spotted at the high-voltage India vs Pakistan clash in Dubai on Sunday, where Pandya was in action.
While there has been no confirmation of a relationship, the selfies, posts and stadium spotting have kept fans guessing and gossip mills running.
