Shocking details have emerged in the Dhaula Kuan BMW accident case that killed senior government official Navjot Singh.
According to the FIR, Singh’s wife, Sandeep Kaur, alleged that she repeatedly begged the accused couple to take them to a nearby hospital after their motorcycle was hit by the speeding luxury car near the Delhi Cantonment Metro station.
Instead, the accused drove them nearly 19 km away to a small hospital in GTB Nagar.
Delhi Police sources said the hospital was linked to the accused, 38-year-old Gaganpreet Kaur, who was arrested today.Â
Investigators believe that had Singh been taken to a nearby hospital, his life could have been saved. The FIR suggests the detour was a deliberate attempt to hide the crime rather than provide urgent medical help.
The incident has sparked outrage, raising questions about negligence, accountability, and the misuse of privilege on Delhi’s roads.
