India U-19 clinch 2026 World Cup with 100-run win over England

India U-19 lifted the 2026 U-19 World Cup title, defeating England U-19 by a commanding 100-run margin in the final at Harare, Zimbabwe. This victory marks India’s sixth U-19 World Cup title, further solidifying their dominance in youth cricket.

The Indian innings was a spectacular display of batting firepower. Vaibhav Suryavanshi stole the show with a breathtaking 175 off just 80 balls, featuring 15 fours and 15 sixes.

Captain Ayush Mhatre contributed a well-paced half-century, while Kanishk Chouhan smashed 37 off 20 balls to boost the total to a massive 411 runs, with every batter contributing significantly.

India’s bowlers then ran through the England lineup. RS Ambrish picked up 3 crucial wickets, while Deepesh Devendran claimed 2, triggering a collapse as England lost most of their wickets between overs 21–30. Caleb Falconer’s 115 went in vain as England were bowled out for 311.

With this triumph, it is justified to say that the future of Indian cricket is in secure hands.
