Sen, 23-year-old shuttler overcame Chinese Taipei’s seasoned campaigner Chou Tien Chen in straight games, clinching a hard-fought 23-21, 22-20 victory in the semi-final.
Sen displayed remarkable composure in crunch moments, saving game points and capitalizing on crucial errors from Chou.
The opening game went down to the wire before the Indian edged ahead 23-21, while the second game saw Sen maintain his nerve under pressure, sealing the contest 22-20.
This victory marks another significant milestone for Sen, who continues to rise as India’s premier men’s singles prospect.
