Madhuri Dixit remembers Dharmendra’s grace, charm and legacy

Madhuri Dixit paid a heartfelt tribute to veteran actor Dharmendra, who passed away on November 24, 2025, recalling his gracious nature and enduring influence on Indian cinema. 

Speaking to ANI, Madhuri said her interactions with the legendary star were unforgettable, describing him as “so gracious, so down to earth, so handsome.” 

She revealed that Dharmendra’s favourite song for her was “Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas Tum Rehti Ho,” which she said suited him perfectly, given his iconic romantic image.

Remembering his versatility, Madhuri praised his effortless shift between action, comedy and romance, citing his memorable scenes in classics like ‘Chupke Chupke.’ 

She attended the ‘Celebration of Life’ prayer meet in Mumbai alongside members of the Deol family and several film industry stalwarts who gathered to honour the actor’s legacy.

Dharmendra, affectionately known as Bollywood’s “He-Man,” leaves behind a remarkable filmography marked by longevity, mass appeal and unmatched screen presence. His final film, Ikkis,’ is set to release on December 25.
