On the morning of the wedding, Smriti Mandhana’s father, Srinivas Mandhana, was rushed to the hospital due to a heart-related issue. Just hours later, Palaash himself was reportedly admitted with viral symptoms and acidity complications, sending shockwaves across both families.
The Muchhals offered a brief confirmation shortly after, with singer Palak Muchhal announcing that the wedding stood postponed, prioritising the health and well-being of their loved ones.

“I think the families have been through a very, very tough time… we would like to believe in positivity in this time and spread positivity as much as we can. And stay strong,” she said, urging calm amid the rising speculation surrounding the couple.
