King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan has opened up on his experience of working with Deepika Padukone once again in their upcoming film King, marking their sixth collaboration.
While addressing a meet-and-greet event on his 60th birthday, SRK confirmed that Deepika is a part of Siddharth Anand’s movie.
Known for his romance on screen, he also hinted that the film will carry their signature chemistry. “Mere saath film mein Deepika Padukone bhi hai. Pyaar toh zarorr hoga!” he said, adding to fans’ excitement.
Shah Rukh praised Anand’s direction, crediting him for shaping his action-hero persona during Pathaan.
SRK shared how the filmmaker helped him develop a “new kind of macho hero” on screen, noting Anand’s strong aesthetic vision and organized working style.
Shah Rukh added that their collaboration over the last few years has turned into a friendship and supported his performance in Jawan.
The beloved on-screen duo, who previously impressed audiences in Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Pathaan, and Jawan, are now ready to bring fresh magic to King.
With Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji also part of the cast, the film is slated for release next year.
