Bollywood’s He-Man, Dharmendra has been reportedly put on ventilator support at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, according to multiple reports.
The Sholay actor, who will turn 90 on December 8 has been admitted to the hospital for some days and was shifted to the ICU earlier today after his health reportedly deteriorated.
As per the sources close to the Deol family, Dharmendra has been unwell for several days and is now under close observation by doctors.
No official statement has yet been issued by the family and the hospital, however reports indicate that Dharmendra’s condition remains critical.
Family members, including sons Sunny and Bobby Deol, are said to be visiting Dharmendra frequently.
Dharmendra’s prolific career spans over six decades, starring in classics such as Sholay, Chupke Chupke, Bandini, and Mera Gaon Mera Desh.
His last on-screen appearance was in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.
Dharmendra’s next film, Ikkis, featuring Agastya Nanda, is slated for release on December 25 this year.
