Virat Kohli continued his sublime form, bringing up his 53rd ODI century in the second ODI against South Africa in Raipur on Wednesday.
The veteran batter reached the milestone in just 90 balls, marking his second consecutive hundred of the series. Kohli’s innings included seven fours and two sixes, anchored India’s commanding position as the hosts raced to 275/3 after 38 overs.
Batting with characteristic fluency and control, Kohli kept the scoreboard moving while building a solid partnership with skipper KL Rahul, who joined him at the crease after Ruturaj’s wicket, who also hit his maiden One-day century.
With this hundred, Kohli has completed 84 international centuries.
