Social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, experienced a brief disruption on Tuesday, leaving thousands of users unable to access key features.
According to outage-tracking website Downdetector, more than 988 users in India reported problems with the platform by 5:03 pm, while global complaints surged to over 11,320 by 5:05 pm.
Many users flocked to X itself to confirm whether the service was down, with timelines failing to load and posts taking unusually long to refresh.
The cause of the outage remains unclear, and the company has yet to issue an official statement.
