On Saturday, the Jammu and Kashmir State Investigation Agency (SIA) made another arrest in the ongoing probe into the Delhi Red Fort blast case, officials confirmed.
The man identified as Tufail Ahmad was detained by J&K SIA with assistance from the Special Operations Group (SOG). Tufail, an electrician was detained from Srinagar’s Industrial Estate for his alleged role in the “white collar” terror module linked to Jaish-e-Mohammad.
Preliminary interrogation has reportedly yielded strong leads, suggesting Tufail may have played a key part in the conspiracy behind the November 10 blast that killed 10 people.
Officials said agencies are now examining his network, communication trails and possible involvement in logistical or technical support for the module.
