Punjabi superstar and singer Diljit Dosanjh has released an emotional video on Instagram, appealing for unity and collective support as Punjab battles one of its worst floods in decades.
The devastating deluge has ravaged over 1,000 villages, destroying homes, crops, and livestock, leaving thousands displaced.

In the heartfelt video, Diljit spoke in Hindi to ensure his message reached a wider audience. “Punjab is wounded but not defeated. We have to stand with the people until their lives start again,” he said, while expressing solidarity with affected families. He praised the tireless work of local NGOs, media, and especially the youth of Punjab for stepping up in relief efforts.
The singer also revealed that his team has reached out to several corporate houses, who have expressed willingness to provide aid to Punjab. “All the resources I have, all the contacts I know, are ready to help. We will overcome this together,” he said.
