India’s young pacer Harshit Rana once again got the better of New Zealand opener Devon Conway in the ongoing second T20I at Raipur, continuing his remarkable run against the Kiwi batsman.
Conway, who had looked in good touch with a quickfire 19 off 9 balls, was dismissed by Rana in the fourth consecutive encounter across formats.
Rana had already troubled Conway throughout the 2026 3-match ODI series, claiming his wicket in all three games, bowled for 56 in the first ODI, 16 in the second, and caught at the slips by Rohit Sharma for just 5 in the final ODI.
India won the toss and opted to bowl first. After a costly start in the first three overs, Harshit tightened the screws, delivering a wicket-maiden, while Varun Chakravarthy claimed the other opener soon after.
At 4.3 overs, New Zealand were reeling at 44 for 2, with Conway back in the pavilion once again, underscoring Rana’s dominance over the Kiwi star.
