In a joint operation on Wednesday evening, the Delhi Police Special Cell, along with Uttar Pradesh and Haryana STF, killed two gangsters accused of firing shots outside actor Disha Patani’s house in Bareilly last week
Police said the duo had been tracking the actress’s residence for weeks to intimidate her family. Their movements were traced through CCTV footage and technical surveillance. The two accused, Ravinder from Rohtak and Arun from Sonepat, linked to Goldy Brar’s gang, were wanted in connection with the incident
At around 7:20 pm, police intercepted their bike and asked them to surrender. However, the plan backfired, and the men allegedly opened fire, injuring officers and damaging a vehicle. In retaliation, police shot back, injuring both accused. They later died in the hospital.
A stolen bike, a Zigana pistol, and a Glock Gen 5 pistol were recovered from the spot. Officials confirmed Ravinder was also wanted in a 2024 Fatehabad court firing and a recent Bhiwani gang war.
