Cricket fans around the globe are all set to witness a month of power-packed entertainment as the ICC T20I World Cup 2026 is all set to take place in India and Sri Lanka from 6 February to 8 March, 2025.Â
The tournament will feature 20 teams, divided into four groups of five, marking one of the largest editions of the event.
India, the defending champions, will host the tournament for the first time since 2016.
While the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad is the frontrunner to host the final, Colombo has been identified as an alternative venue should Pakistan qualify for the title clash, owing to ongoing political and security tensions between the two nations.
Reports suggest that most of Pakistan’s matches will be played in Sri Lanka, likely in Colombo, to avoid logistical challenges.
