On Monday, RJD leader and former Bihar deputy CMTejashwi Yadav held discussions with Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge. The two reportedly met to discuss a seat-sharing arrangement for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections.Â
According to sources, Congress general secretary, Organisation, K C Venugopal and the party’s in-charge for Bihar, Krishna Allavaru, were present during the meeting at Khage’s residence.
The two parties engaged in consultations over seat-sharing among the Mahagathbandhan partners ahead of the Bihar assembly polls, amid claims and counter-claims made by both sides on each one’s stronghold constituencies.
