Former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, has added yet another milestone to his illustrious journey as he is now a certified drone pilot.
The 2011 World Cup-winning skipper, who generally maintains a low profile off the cricket field, has always shown keen interest in technology and innovation.
Now becoming a certified drone pilot, reflects Dhoni’s interest in aviation and modern technology.
Agnishwar Jayaprakash, Founder and CEO of Garuda Aerospace, praised their brand ambassador-cum-investor’s dedication, saying, “Having MS Dhoni personally undergo training and get certified as a pilot is a monumental milestone for us. His focus and quick learning were remarkable.”
Beyond cricket, Dhoni’s love for motorcycles and his deep respect for the Indian Army are well known.
Awarded the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in 2011, he has also trained as a paratrooper, completing multiple parachute jumps, proving that his pursuit of excellence knows no boundaries.
